As far as favorite shooters are concerned I had a lot of fun with the original Counter Strike 1.6 with my friends in college and more recently Left4Dead 2 is hands down the most enjoyable experience I have had with friends playing together as a team. But what I am always looking for in any game is a compelling story so the first Max Payne, Metal Gear Solid and Bioshock are some of my favorite shooters in this regard.

I am greatly interested in SiN, but in all honesty I wouldn't play it anytime soon, so I 'm not in for the giveaway. I don't want to suck.
My favourite shooter? Well, since you're offering SiN, I guess you're talking about first-person shooters... then I'd be hard-pressed to decide. I'd say Quake and Half-life, but in the end, there are so many top contenders in the genre that I barely tried or I've never even played: Doom, System Shock 2, NOLF, Unreal, Max Payne, Serious Sam, Bioshock... not even Half-life 2, believe it or not! This should tell you something as to why I'm not entering the giveaway!
But if you just mean "a game where you have to shoot things", well, the first that comes to my mind is Time Pilot, no less.

Would probably say that I enjoyed Doom the most. Been playing Chex Quest, Doom, and now Doom 2 in Zdoom in the past year or two (and then heretic/hexen series and Quake when I get done with Doom 2). I like how I can play doom on my laptop and do reasonably well without a mouse.

It's hard to choose a favourite shooter, but if I must choose one, I'd say Wolfenstein 3D.

My favourite shooter is Spec Ops: The Line. Best game of 2012, without a shadow of doubt. As far as first-person shooters are concerned, probably Marathon.

Battlefield 2 is my favourite shooter. The ticket system even in the single player makes it
a more realistic and excellent game.
