There are still plenty of things that are unsearchable. For instance, unless you know the name of something, you're going to have a lot of difficulty finding it. So if you have solid memories of a game you played as a child, you'll get a MUCH faster response here than by trying to sift through thousands of similar titles in half a dozen genres on mobygames.

Even the reverse image search can have a hard time sourcing pictures.

That may be true, but my rant really was about information you can typically find within the top five links or so from a Google search using common (sense) search parameters without having to rely on obscure references.

Oh, let's just ask about something that I could easily Google or look up on Wikipedia/Mobygames in less than a minute. But I forgot! I'm too fucking lazy to even enter a few words into a goddamn search box! Why should I put any effort, however slight, into doing that when I expect everybody else to jump and do the work for me. I'm just a pathetic, lazy arse, who can't be bothered to do such a thing, although I waste away so much more time browsing fora. You don't even want to know how much lazier I am in real life!
