My fav is BG2. It was my first western crpg. Its my fav because of the interactions with your party NPCs.
Broken Sword for the biggest nostalgia factor (The Smoking Mirror is the first game I can recall playing with my mother, and the one that got me into adventures for good) and probably Myst, which really glued me to the screen like no other.

Cheers!
Beyond Good and Evil.

It's one of the VERY few titles on this website I had both heard of, and played prior to joining. It also marks the second of major female protagonists that I had ever come to respect out of my 20 something years of gaming, and comes with a great focus on story, an excellent soundtrack and an involving world.

Incase anyone is wondering what the first protagonist was, it's Samus Aran.
Thanks for the giveaway.
My favorite game on Gog is Theme Hospital. It reminds me of my childhood when I used to play it with my little brother (not so little anymore). I think it´s incredible how some old games can bring us so many good memories.

Regards!

Death2Videodrome: which Gothic game do you recommend?

ive always been interested in playing Gothic but just dont know which one is best.
what do you suggest?
The first and the second + expansion are the best! The third lose something... Arcania doesn't exist for me ;)

I suggest you to start with Gothic.. If you don't mind the old-grafic, is still a great game...
My favorite game on gog.com has got to be Baldur's Gate 2. A very close second would be Deus Ex. But I have played Baldur's Gate 2 nearly every year since it was released.

I still install it from the 4 CD case.
My favorite game of all times has to be Pod! It is the very first PC game i ever played and it had great ambient music with a bit of cyberpunk. till this day i remember some of the short-cuts, to bad i can't get my cd to work, I ain't a wizard when i comes to PCs (although i knew i few thing)

Gothic 3 is an excellent game... once you install the Community Patch. The game changes drastically. The latest version is 1.75.
I guess Fallout 2. And Gothic 2. Both fantastic arpeegees. And Blood. And Duke 3d. Both fantastic efpeeasses. And Beyond Good and Evil. Because it's like magic, on my screen.
And a billion more, probably.

Thanks for the giveaway!

I'm in, thank you!

My favourite game on GOG is Gabriel Knight. I have got a lot of awesome memories from that game, the story is SO brilliant! :)
BUMP!
Judging by hours spent, it would definitely have to be Fallout.

Gone through the game a dozen times and still keep finding out new things. An absolute classic if there ever was one.
Thanks for the chance, very civilized of you, sir!

I guess my favourite GOG of all time is Baldur's Gate 2. The story was so engrossing I even told my workmates about it, and every day they'd ask me what had happened in my adventures the night before. Good times.

Favourite GOG of the now is definitely FTL. I've enjoyed this more than any other indie since Dredmor, and that's saying a lot with so many great indie games around.
BUMP!
Planescape: Torment for the dark, driven story, great characters, and updated my journal.

I bought Baldur's Gate 1 & 2, during the sale, but I haven't started on it.
