Okay, so I made a purchase on the Interplay "not-really-pay-what-you-want" Promo. After purchasing the mid-tier, I had 12 extra games/gift codes. Now, I went to the gift section of my account and noticed that all of the games are listed under one gift code. So, does this mean if I was to gift these games to someone, I would have to give them all to one person? Is there any way that I can distribute them out individually to different people if I wanted? If so, how would I do that?

Anyone out there have any insight? Thanks!
They'll all go to one person. If there are any games in there that they already own, then the code will still be functional for the leftovers.
There's no way to split up a code into several codes (short of begging support).

That's unfortunate and rather inconvenient. Seems like GOG should have thought it through a little more, IMHO. Multiple codes means a higher possibility of multiple new users/customers, instead of just one code and only one possible new customer. Oh well, maybe they'll reconsider in the future if they continue with these "pay what you want" promos.

Which is what I'll do in a few months when I'm ready to gift these extra games. I'm not really sure why the system isn't set up to automatically dispatch individual codes per game. It's smart enough to select the games I already own.

It seems like lately, I'm getting a ton of codes. I think in the future I'm going to be extremely generous. But, this promo was too good a deal to pass on, even with owning 5 or so of the games in the first 2 tiers.
Well, if the person who receives the gift code already has some of the games, the twice-owned games can be re-gifted to a third person and so on.

But no, unfortunately there's no way to manually break up the gift codes.

This is only their second Pay what you want promo, so there is time for them to improve anything that needs improving. Hopefully.

They did, this promo is a ton better than the previous pay any fair price promo. But, yes, they really should have defaulted to giving individual codes for the games you already own. I'm not quite sure what the logic was in bundling them all together.

Maybe the deal should be called, "pay what we want".
I don't think GOG will change this anytime soon...
At least it's already better than Steam, and let you give the spare games... ;p
