I've just ran a speed test and I have the potential to pull about four and a half megs per second but GoG is pulling at around 65 kbs....not too much faster than dial-up. Is there something going on with GoG currently?

Is everyone else experiencing a slow down in down load speed from here?
Must be something weird going on right now then. I DLed Baldur's Gate just the other day and was averaging around 1 meg.

*edit* Testing now. DLing Alien Nation and getting about 950 KB/sec.

Servers are probably being slammed by the mass influx of new users and those re-downloading all their games.
This appears to be something fishy-like on my end. I'm now, simultaneously, downloading free software from a completely different site and it is also pulling around 65 kbs.
So either I've A. Got other people using my bandwidth as well.
B. Have accidentally capped myself somehow
or
C. Something is going on with my ISP

No problems for me too, getting a steady stream of 300-400kbps.
Sorry can't post a link

In short Internet Download Manager has a resume feature and is currently yanking from GoG around 6 megs a sec in IE8. I'd HIGHLY recommend checking it out at CNET downloads.Just a back up notice to this. Most download sites won't load with Internet Download Manager installed. I had to remove it.

Now I'm trying the the 'Free Download Manager' - better results.
