Stupid question: what the heck was his website all about? I mean, he had a message board and a FaceBook page and a Twitter account... but no "theme". Was this just a case of a clueless interweb nüb with an attention disorder randomly doing everything that all the cool kids supposedly do on the internet?

Now I haven't bothered negging every one of his posts, if we all got together and made it our mission to do it, I wonder how low we could get his/it's rep

Now, I would never suggest that we abuse the rep system like that, but I can honestly say, I have not found a single post of his that I didn't feel deserved a negative.

Did anyone look at the wiki link? The entry for the actual "online community" as he calls it is really quite sad considering that he was the population of his forum

Actually that would probably be a much more challenging hunt. Kind of says it all really.

I can think of only one, the thread he started asking if GOG games worked on solaris. The fact he didn't post buckets of links and phrased it as a real question would be just enough to dismiss it as stupid rather than actively trolling

He actually made a contribution to the Free Games and Mods thread and a couple of harmless posts on the specific games boards...

Good, perhaps if he returns he will emulate these posts which actually add something to the community instead of endlessly spamming. We've had trolls in the past who have become more or less regular users, why not again?

Ah, that 'splains it, I only looked on the general forum, which of course means I only ran into all that stuff with the guns and junk.
BTW - Anyone check out his profile on his Wikia? Maybe its just me, but I don't think I would use a Wiki to list all my current and past love interests. Considering that it is something the public can edit, that can really only lead to bad things happening.
