Anyone know if the quest for glory series will come out on gog? I saw space quest series in stores but none of the quest for glory series. I would really like to play through all of them again in XP.

I don't know, and I don't think any other user will know, until it's announced.

I keep waiting and waiting....and waiting! I miss these games, I will gladly buy them all again. I especially want part 1 and 4.

No, no news. Nobody has any news. There are no news, and there will be no news until the games are released, if and when that happens. Go read the FAQ, please.

I want these games too. I have voted for them. For anyone who has followed this site closely: Does the voting wishlist work often? I've noticed some games on the list that are already on here to buy, and I've noticed some like System Shock 2 which have been there forever.
Obviously they have to work out a deal with all companies involved, but I'm just wondering if I should have any hope that it will come out here.

I don't know, but it seems weird that they put out the other Sierra franchises (King's Quest and Space Quest) but not this one.

I hate moving. Which is why I'll do it only when I really must, which is the case right now. Still, there are 2 points I like about it:
- memories. Having to dig through all your stuff, you're bound to get things in your hands that trigger those special moments again.
- finding some very special items you didn't know, you actually have. For me that was lately a still shrink wrapped Quest for Glory Anthology. :)

FYI, Kings Quest 1-2, and Quest for Glory 1 and 2 have been remade by AGD interactive... they're free to download at http://www.agdinteractive.com/

Can you even find out who truly owns all the rights to System Shock 1 & 2? There's a reason that the game has never been re-released anywhere.

Quest for Glory 1 was remade by Sierra, and is not available for download legally.
King's Quest 3 was remade freeware by Infamous Adventures, and they are also working on Space Quest 2, which is in the bug-squishing phase (unfortunately that takes a long time!).
The quest for glory series are one of my favourites, I always played as a mage the first time through, then completed them in various other ways. Quite a good amount of replay value.
I actually recently did a review for Quest For Glory IV for Abandonia, although it's not been uploaded yet.
QFG4 had full voice acting for the CD version (For the anthology certainly, not sure if it was available for other versions), and starred a couple of interesting persons... IMDB linky!
I should probably add that the rights are held by Vivendi international (the company that owns Activision/Blizzard). They approved the AGD interactive remakes, but I'm not sure what their opinion of selling them through GOG would be. I'd hope a deal could be made, but who knows?
