The thing about the download is that it's got a 3MB download up front, then they "secretly" download a 180MB file in the background ("additional material"). Not complaining about the download, just saying the word "downloading" could be in bigger font.

Its very likely that you will. I was invited myself and originally got 12 invites. How many are left is a closely guarded secret. :P

My main problem is that the web part is still fairly buggy and will often take me to the wrong pages... looking at the code, it seems to be an absolute mess. Whoever is coding this probably a Windows programmer who thinks "how different can Javascript be". Well. A lot.
There's also some rather funnny stuff like the "encrypted" PK3 files :) Well, encrypted is probably saying too much: Apparently they use a simple XOR type encryption, but since the ZIP header is standardized, much of the key is already known (XOR operates on the bit level. Source bit XOR key bit EQUALS encrypted bit and encrypted bit XOR key bit EQUALS source bit, so if the source data and the encrypted data are known you can easily derive the key from it).
I'm a bit disappointed about the code quality. Quake3 deserves better.
