I can faintly remember a game i haven't finished from my childhood.
Its a 2D point and click game and all i can remember is some people locked in crystal pods or something. Not much but maybe some people might know it.
*SOLVED*

I can't think of anything that fits your description exactly. The Dig had a lot of crystals and stuff in it though.
Is it, I have no mouth and I must scream?

Your description kinda reminds me of the trailer for Torin's Passage (Torin's parents were shown trapped in crystal).

Oooh, a Sierra On-Line game... that will be a tough one for GOG, not in terms of difficulty negotiating with the rights holder, but difficulty in finding a rights holder to negotiate with. Sierra has been bought, re-sold, broken up, auctioned off and otherwise scattered so many times, there could be any number of people or entities that can claim the rights to the game. I'm not saying it couldn't be done or it will never happen, but this game could be rather hard to get.
But there's nothing GOG loves like a little challenge ;D
Man, when I read the title the first thing I thought of was; Kick the Can. I remember that from childhood! :o)

You should mark POLE7645's post as the answer. The thread will get a nice little green "SOLVED" label on it, and the universe will be in balance once again.

Unfortunately the thread wasn't set up as a 'question' thread so it can't be marked as a solution.

Now it IS marked as an unanswered question... Strange.
Guess a staff member saw it and changed it into a question.
EDIT: I was mistaken; it indeed is not a question. The "Q" at the beginning of the title fooled me.
