So, I have two PSN accounts: one has a 1 month free PSN Plus subscriptiona citaved, it is an account I created just to redeem one code and download some free games with it.
My sub will expire on October.
I usually play the game with my "main" account, the one with NO plus, but soon I will received a three months subscription I will activate on my main account.
My question is: if I download a game with the alternate account (the one that actually has a Plus month activated), then the sub expire, to play this game I downloaded on the main account (when I will activate the three months Plus) I will need that game again?

Because I'm downloading Dragon's Dogma that is 15 GB, but I think I can't manage to play it because I'm playing Far Cry 3, but I wanna play it on October as soon as I will received the three months code.

I don't know about PSN+ but regarding PSN games in general, they're firmly tied to one account. I assume the logic applies for PSN+ titles.

Source: I've looked for the answer months ago to know if I can sell these games together with console.

Not exactly. Only one account can download the game. Then, any account on that PS3 can play the games.
Unfortunately, I know the free games will not work once the subscription on the account you downloaded them with runs out. I don't, however, know if they will work again once your other account has PS+, I've never come across that issue myself.

Any games bought that were discounted will still work just fine with either of your accounts, so long as you don't delete the account that you got the games with.

If I delete the account and not games and then someone creates theirs, they can access all games installed? If so, do you recall where have you found the information?

I know it's not what Punished_Snake asked but since we opened the issue...

Maybe this answers your question:
Can I transfer my PlayStation Plus subscription to another Sony Entertainment Network account, including a Sub Account?

No. Once a PlayStation Plus subscription has been purchased, it cannot be transferred to any other account, including a Sub Account.

The games aren't playable anymore once the subscription expires and you don't get them back once you get a new subscription.
Have they given Dragon's Dogma for free?
Yeah, the only way you can keep playing the PS+ games from one account is to continue the PS+ on that account. Until you do that, those PS+ games will have a failed authorization check whenever you try to play them.

I used to have a european PS+ account as well as an American PS+ account. Once I let my european account expire, my download of Megaman 9 was unplayable even though had the same title "purchased" through my American PS+, so I had to delete the install and download the American copy.

No, I believe the original account that purchased the games needs to be still authorized on the PS3. Sorry, Punished_Snake said he would still have the account on his PS3 and I misread your post. My mistake.
Yes, I will still have the account on the PS3.
Thanks for the answer, but sadly nothing is usefull at the moment :(

I will wait until my sub will expire, then I will input the code on my main account so I will see if I will access the game.
Because I think that each game is binded with a license INSIDE it, so when the sub expires, this license expires too and you will need to download the game again.

There aren't two files (for example, one for the game, one for the activation), so I presume that the license is inside the game.

The last part there is wrong. If you resubscribe you get access to everything you had downloaded under your previous subscription.

Will I get access to my PlayStation Plus games if I renew my subscription after it has lapsed?

Yes, upon renewal of your subscription you will get access to your PlayStation Plus games. We recommend you take advantage of automatic renewal to ensure you don't miss out.

Yes, I confirm this.
But I don't know if you can play the SAME file without downloading it again.

No problem, I derailed the thread a bit :).

I probably understand your question now. So when you renew your subscription under another account, Dragon's Dogma will be still available as a part of current PS+ selection, am I right?
If so, I don't know. I'm curious about your results.
Simple, activate your three-month sub on your main account the last day Dragon's Dogma and the other games are available (usually this would be near the end of the month it's available). Then "purchase" it with your main account, that is, add it to your download list and start downloading it. The licence will activate for that account as well (you can then cancel the main download, you don't need to reinstall it). Continue to use the game as is until the sub runs out (or you decide to prolong it). Your other account will not be able to use it when its PS+ sub expires. And yes, you can have multiple licenses for the same game/file - each with its own length of use.

Protip: PS1 games bought from the Store or obtained through PS+ mysteriously work without the account it was purchased on. Seems their licences are not the same.

I'm not sure why you didn't use the one month code on your main account though. If you had, you could just activate the three month code on it as well and it would have added the days to the sub total.

Then again, I'm not sure why you didn't get a year of PS+ since it's great value!

Because I took the 1 free month from Facebook, and when I tried to redeem the code on my main account, it said me the code was invalid. So I created another account and redeemed the code.
Thanks, by the way, I mark this as solution, I hope it will work :)
since you mentioned that this is about dragon's dogma, I am assuming the issue is the expiring subscription is in a European PSN account while your main
is a US account.

.... since the US ps+ hasn't gotten that game.

the answer is no, you can not keep playing the game if the subscription it is tied to expires. once the subscription expires PSN shuts off that game code, regardless of if the ps3 it is installed on has another account with an active subscription on it.

likewise, PS+ memberships are not cross compatible and you will need separate subscriptions if you want access to the game lists for each region.
