All of a sudden, my PS3 controllers aren't working unless they're plugged into the system. I've tried plugging them in there, then removing the cable, but it loses connection right away. No, I do not have a Bluetooth device running that would interfere. Yes, they are fully charged. I seriously need help with this, because tomorrow I'm having a bunch of friends over and they want to play Modern Warfare 2.

Did you try the reset button on the back of the controller?

Yes, and upon further investigation, this is a problem many PS3 Slim users have at the moment. Most think it's because of Firmware Update 3.10, because the problems began around then. This may be something I have to wait out.
Yeah it happens to me too. It usually happens when I turn on the PS3 then the controller. If that happens I turn off the ps3 and turn it on with the controller.
Yeah I had that too a week or 2 back, I had to reassociate the controller with the system to fix it permanently

Do you have a slim or the older ones?
Slim, I only bought it because of the price drop (and the fact it came with Batman which I also wanted)
