I decided to leave this as "not question" to allow "offtopic chatter" and because I don't think this can be "solved". Please tell me is I should do otherwise!
I'm new here at GOG and I just recently had to use to use support, and yes, it's as good as I've heard! The thing is that I'm not used to web-based support (I'm more of a phone and a face-to-face person), but I also tried to be as helpful as possible, so I mechanically typed my problem. I know support everywhere appreciates a detailed, no nonsense report, but should you jus bet descriptive and straight (no comments, asides, etc.)?
And once I received my reply, I was told the problem was unsolvable at the moment in my computer, and I was offered a refound/exxchange. I decided not to take the offer and just wait for the bug to be fixed or find another computer to play it. The message said I could "contact" him, I guess with a reply, if I wanted to take the offer. Is it ok to just not reply, not even for a "no, thanks"? The signature said that the message was part of a "closed ticket number", and I'm worried to open it to basically say nothing.
Yeah, I know this sounds silly, but this has been a really great site since I found it, and I want to be sure to be as helpful as possible, and thought this would be the place to ask how other people sends support reports around here. Thanks in advance!
