I tried to play it about 10-12 years ago, but found the wall rather impermeable. I was always more of a TFC fan back then, just because being a noob in CS (even that long ago) meant you weren't going to have a good time. I love watching occasional YouTube vids of skilled runs, however. The headshot tracking that some of these guys are capable of is just captivating.

TFC also had a little competitive scene going on for a while. Conc jumping was a legit and necessary tactic for medics/scouts, and spawned some really cool practice maps. There was also a popular 1v1 DM map that was great for demo and soldier fencing. And, of course, bunnyhopping sped things up immensely.

I like the subject title. When I was employed, I was a programmer. Now that I'm retired, I'm a progamer.

I haven't watched MLG in about a year, the production values have really skyrocketed.
Mind you, I don't care about that kind of mumbo-jumbo, I just want to see the games. But it's nice to see it nevertheless :)

No, I don't like to watch other ppl play, Id rather play myself.
