Looks like Bethesda has pulled the plug on the sequel. In fact, one of the developers involved was forced to pull out of some Prey 2 presentation at GDC earlier this month. And if there's one thing you know game developers love doing, it's showing off all their cool new shit to other developers.

Well that's one of the games I was looking forward to gone. Shame.

No doubt that there will be a sequel to HL

My bet is that Valve is going to release a new Engine when the next generation of consoles hit, then, we can expect to see where the Series goes

However, please do not forget that Valve openly and publicly LIED to people about it's release (in this case, episode 3)

What's even more disgusting is that regardless of this, some people treat Valve like they can do no wrong and go apeshit when someone says something about their bullshit

the game is basically finished, confirmed for Steamworks, and has been featured in multiple gaming mags.

Bethshitia is just trying to leach off of the insecurity hovering over every ID project ATM (with RAGE being a flop and the next DOOM title rumored to be canceled) as a means of stirring up marketing buzz.

the only reason Bethshitia would ever cancel a game was if there was no way to consoleize it, but that's not the case with this game. hell even Demons Forge got shipped and if there was ever a "development hell" title that needed canceling (mostly so the developers could work on something worth a damn) that was it!

Prey 2 is fine, this is all marketing bull shit.

A good 12 years I think.
