Here we don't have the Black Friday tradition, discount period is only after New Year. So that's when I'll go shopping for stuff for myself. I always leave shopping for Christmas until the last few days, but since I only trade gifts with a few family members it's ok. I already got one gift though, a book that I was going to get anyway but found heavily discounted last week. =)

I never do my shopping early. I suck at it. In truth, I'd be happier if Christmas were only a time when everyone gets together and eats a lot of delicious food. Although, I think the children might object to this idea :P

Not in. Just wanted to say I didn't do any xmas shopping yet, even though I usually do it rather early.

To be honest, am getting rather sick of all this commerce driven holidays. For example, when I was young (a long long time ago), at Easter children been searching for hidden chocolate bunnies and eggs. Nowadays they get and expect larger xmas/birthday style gifts.
