I like to spread the word and support indie devs, so here's a post letting you guys know indie action game Pound of Ground now has a demo on Steam. I just finished playing it and it's kind of like an offline WoW with zombies and cars, if that makes sense. You have a little open area and you get quests to do things like collect items or destroy a machine. It is all melee based in the demo but the video at the end shows gunplay.

Try it out if you like these sorts of games. Graphics aren't spectacular but it has a (again) WoW-ish animated look that works well. Controls are spot-on. It's $10 and Steam exclusive as far as I can tell.

They also have a couple adventure games to their name, Memento Mori and Alternativa, which I know nothing about except the latter has terrible voice acting in its trailer.
