What in the...was my first post too long to actually go through? Oh well, let's try again.
Flagship desktop:
-Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 (G0, 3.2 GHz, 8x400)
-Sunbeamtech Core-Contact Freezer
-8 GB (4*2 GB) G.SKILL DDR2-800 (5-5-5-15)
-Galaxy GeForce 8800 GT 512 MB (highly modified non-reference card with different HSF and PCB)
-Auzentech X-Fi Prelude
-Gigabyte GA-P35-DS3P 2.0
-Western Digital Caviar Blue WD5000AAKS (500 GB, 7,200 RPM)
-PC Power & Cooling Silencer 610
-A+/Aplus/ABS Tagan Black Pearl (it's kind of like the Lian-Li PC-V2000, only without the gigantic price tag)
-Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit
-MAG Innovision 986FS (I'd be using my Dell P1110 instead if not for the focusing failure)
-Audio-Technica ATH-AD700 (this + CMSS-3D = astoundingly immersive surround sound effects in gaming)
-IBM Model M 1391401
-Logitech G500
-Thrustmaster HOTAS Cougar (FCC-modded) + Thrustmaster RCS (Hall sensor-modded)
-Microsoft SideWinder Force-Feedback Wheel
-NaturalPoint TrackIR 4 Pro
Notebook (Gateway E-295C/C-14*XL convertible Tablet PC):
-Intel Core 2 Duo T9300 (2.5 GHz, 12.5x200, 6 MB L2)
-2 GB (2*1 GB) whatever cheap RAM came stock with the system
-ATI Mobility Radeon X2300/HD 2300 128 MB (the difference being the absence/presence of a UVD, and while Gateway specs say X2300, ATI drivers say HD 2300...not really sure here)
-some cheap IDT/SigmaTel integrated sound codec (not even Realtek?)
-160 GB 5,400 RPM HDD (not sure of the exact vendor/model, but it sure runs hot!)
-8-cell battery
-Windows 7 Professional 64-bit
-some cheap 14.1" TN panel with a Wacom Penabled/UD-series digitizer behind it and a glossy tempered glass sheet in front of it
Backup desktop/classic gaming PC:
-AMD Athlon XP 3200+ (2.2 GHz, 11x200)
-crappy stock HSF with a very loud fan
-1.5 GB (3*512 MB) Kingston Value DDR-333 (passable, but 2*1 GB DDR-400 would yield the best performance)
-eVGA GeForce 6800 Ultra (dual-slot stock HSF)
-NVIDIA nForce2 SoundStorm
-Asus A7N8X-E Deluxe
-Hitachi TravelStar 40 GB 4,200 RPM (only spare drive I had)
-Antec True430
-a cheap "6AR6" case, as I tend to call them
-Windows XP Home Edition SP3
PowerBook G3 2000/Pismo/FireWire:
-400 MHz G3 (100 MHz FSB)
-256 MB (2*128 MB) PC-100 SDRAM
-ATI Rage Mobility 128/M3 8 MB
-whatever Mac-specific integrated audio codec Apple decided to use
-6 GB Fujitsu 4,200 RPM HDD (too small, but more irritatingly, TOO NOISY!)
-a main battery so old it lasts a whopping NINE MINUTES before going into emergency standby
-Mac OS 9.2.2 (could go all the way up to OS X 10.4.11, but performance just plain sucks with only 256 MB of RAM and a small, slow hard drive, not to mention that all the Mac games I install on it are for OS 9 or earlier)
