Today is the day! Master Sapkowski has just confirmed (sort of) that he's working on a new Witcher book! After so many years he has finally changed his mind!

I doubt it, he was never really bothered about the game, neither he considers the games as a proper continuation.
He is pretty full of himself.

I actually pretty suprised he decided to go back to this universe. He closed the story (imo poorly) pretty definitely.

That said - PLEASE TAKE MY MONEY!!!

I liked the ending and to be honest it was not that definitive if you think about it. I think AS either ran out of ideas (Narrenturm was good, but nothing more) or finally listened to his fans (like he even cares).

Too bad we cannot discuss it more without revealing major spoilers.

Actually, Narrenturm ITSELF was very, very good, it started a fantastic storyline and I was eager to see where it was going. It had some good ideas, it was well writen, but then... All of those ideas just kind of ... disappeared, and even the supernatural twist was kind of pointless.

I think we don't have to;) It's not that "Lady of the lake" was bad or anything - it's i felt he cut many plot lines which could be a little longer. OTH - some felt waay to long.

Narreturm was awesome - but i guess it's been quiet from AS for a bit too long. He's definitely a brilliant man - do you really think he could run out of ideas?

Wow, this is EXACTLY how I feel about it. And those long breaks between every part (almost 2 years I think) did not help at all.

Read: laziness ;) As much as I like the games I think I'd rather have a separate story in the books. And the short story from 'Cos sie konczy, cos sie zaczyna', which is by so many people considered a real ending of the saga could be a great start for the new book.

Or.... Sapkowski is just mocking us as he is known for similar behavior.

Sorry for derailing this a bit, but have you red his short story take on Alice in the Wonderland? I don't even really know why, but I found it fantastic.
Effin' yeah!!!
NOOOOOOOOOOoooooo.
I really wish more of these would be translated to English. :(
