We want our indie festival too !!!! :o)))

Well, we mostly need the money to invite famous indie guests (Rhianna Pratchett, devs of Gone Home and Stanley Parable, even the infamous Alexander Leigh... boss dev of Larian will come too but he lives in Gent, so that doesn't count ^o^) to do some conferences and as they're mostly overseas, that cost a lot.

So, there's an indiegogo campaign where you can basically pre-order your seats to conferences or entrances to our parties:
https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/screenshake2015-indie-game-festival

If you plan to come, I or another fellow Belgian GOG'er would surely be pleased to make you visit the country or Antwerp.

If you can't come, you can always help by RT'ing on Twitter to raise awareness

Wait what? Lars lives in the city I'm currently at and I haven't invited him for a beer?

O wait no, I got confused. Lars is the Defender's quest, not Larian. They've both shown appreciation for GOG and I confused them in my head for a sec. My bad.

Oh come on, Belgium is so small that we live almost next to each other ;)
I remember that guy from the Divinity:OS Kickstarter videos, he seemed like a good bloke

Last Monday I got stuck in Brussels without a way to get to Gent, it didn't seem that close then. But hey, I'm Basque. That's even smaller, IIRC.

Don't forget there is a strike again next Monday and maybe some train drivers will go on strike too this Thursday ;)

Yeah, which is why I booked to stay the whole week in Gent and shifted my flight to Ireland to Tuesday. Once burnt...

It's kind of weird though, I'm usually the pro strike person. But when I'm Basque, officially work in Ireland, my boss is from Belgium and my colleague from Poland; when should I strike? I have no real reason to strike when Belgium does, but striking when I'm pissed at my home government is not fair to my Flemish boss is it? Maybe I should just solidarize with the working class in Ireland, but I don't check the news there and I have no idea what is going on now that I no longer live there. It's a bit of a mess.

But anyway, sorry for derailing. Let's just say that I will donate a bit... if I happen to be in Belgium at the time of the event and can attend. It's close to FOSDEM too, so maybe? Oh well, I'll see.

The question is if I'll be in the country. Heck, I might not be in the continent for all I know. I've got friends in Korea that got pissed I didn't visit them when I went to Japan this year, so I'll have to do something about that.

Oh, we'll just keep some beer in the fridge in case you're around at that time ;)

Much appreciated! Make it a Chimay blaw, if you don't mind. I'll find something else to bring.
I live in the Netherlands so it shouldn't be too far. Might be fun. :3
