Console ban? That's one thing I didn't know about China, though it's not suprising on the other hand.

If I remember correctly there was a similar situation with Playstation 2, also got a release in China a few years late.

Bizarre that they would get a green-light to sell the PS3 in China now, since it's only a few weeks since the lv0 key was cracked and released publically, effectively making PS3 games piratable finally without Sony having much of a recourse in patching the firmware to stop it...

Or, maybe, that's the whole reason it WAS given permission.
