Oh there's no question it'd sell bloody well but there's what, 3 rights holders? Nintendo from the platform & part of the code (apparently), Rare from the code & EON productions from the Bond licence. Also there's a chance the actor likenesses wouldn't be covered by the Bond licence that EON could provide so that would add Pearce Brosnan into the list. Actually if I remember correctly the multiplayer added the other Bond's so there's Connery, Dalton & Moore with their hands out but probably not poor old George Lazenby because I seem to be one of the only people on the planet who thought he was really good.

I really like Perfect Dark, but I too want Goldeneye more. The reason is I knew those multiplayer maps by heart!

Wow, I had no idea so many people had an interest in it. I shouldn't be so surprised really. It would be incredible if somehow they did settle these issues.
Maybe they could do some joint release, on Virtual Console, PSN and XBLA, that way every one gets a piece of the pie!
Also, I agree! Lazeny was great! I've been watching a few Bonds recently and I think Dalton was pretty dam good too! He had the charm of Connery, but the brutality of Daniel Craig! lol
But great news about Perfect dark! Can't wait to get into it again!

Meh, I'm pretty sure Perfect Dark is the superior game in many ways (crapload of multiplayer options, counter-op, prettier graphics, more awesome guns, etc.)

See, I thought Perfect Dark was more polished, but Goldeneye had the charm. For instance, I'd play Goldeneye's single player all day, but remember getting quite bored in PD.

I'd take PD any day in single player, personally. Loved every minute. But I've never been more than a casual Bond fan.

There's a free PD premium theme on the 360 marketplace, its not a bad one
