I was just wondering i recently heard that GoG has made the Heavenly decision to go mac :D. Sadly my favorite games have not gone mac yet but i have several i would want to buy in a heart beat. I was wondering if the Legacy of Kain series will go mac and if i were to buy them and get them to awkwardly work on my bootcamped win7 would i be able to get them on mac or would i have to buy them again

Those games should work perfectly fine in Win7 with Bootcamp. If GOG does make Mac-compatible versions you would not have to pay for them again. You'd simply be able to download them again for Mac when they show up. As to what the possibility of GOG releasing Mac-compatible versions is, only GOG knows. Just don't bet on it on happening; that way you won't be disappointed if it doesn't happen, for whatever reason that may be.

For now it seems that when you buy a game you get both PC and Mac version when available. The games I already had in my inv which has gone mac have both versions for download now.

To the first question: No one really knows, it seems unlikely though since all Mac games on GOG so far are either running in DOSBox (e.g. Theme Hospital), games where a Mac version already existed (e.g. FTL), or recently ported to be released on GOG (The Witcher 2).

Legacy of Kain is a Windows 95 era game. I would say porting is out of the question, so unless GOG starts selling games embedded in VMs running Windows I'd say a Mac version is pretty unlikely.

To the second question: If you bought it now and they did release a Mac version you'd get it at no extra cost.
Thank you all for the speedy responses. Good info to have
