I've had my first two instances of payment trouble with GOG, both in the last few days and both on a card I've used before without issue. Is anyone else running into snags lately?

Looking at this post again I should elaborate.

Have there been any recent changes to GOG payment processing that could cause issues with a MasterCard which worked fine during the holiday sale? (ps card is issued through PayPal and backed by their payment processing)

I'd just like to make sure the next time I buy from GOG it doesn't get held up again as it has this month.

So, you tried to pay with the same card both via CC and PayPal option and both didn't work?

There seems to have been a lot of issues with the payment screens to judge by the number of topics here at the forum dealing with people not getting the games, the thing just hangs forever, etc. Personally, I haven't had a problem yet, but it appears GOG is making changes to their site which has some side effects.

In short, it's not just you, I don't think it has anything to do with the payment process and it looks like it's gremlins on the site. On the other hand, if you're doing what keeveek is asking, your bank might block multiple transaction in a short timespan, thinking it's suspicious activity.

GOG has gotten back to me and it turns out that payment wasn't actually an issue.
Rather it was my shelf not refreshing properly in my account due to unusual server load for them.

It has now been resolved (thanks GOG) but I wanted to post here so the community had the information.
