Will GOG be patching all games, or just some games with a footnote that they recommend it, or what? I happened to notice that one of the posts mentioned a game being offered with its current patch, how great!
I searched but could not find any posts regarding this subject. My experience with patching is that it is generally a very good idea. Game-stopping bugs can be avoided.

Yes, all games are up-to-date, if the patches are official.
You can download unnofficial patches (for Fallout for example) in its dedicated forum, in the "Game Name Mods" thread. :)
