Tough call...but my vote's for Fwiffo from Star Control II.

Hilarious (like all Spathi), and you can get his Eluder at the beginning of the game, which makes the game a LOT easier, especially fighting off the Ilwrath Avenger that appears when you fix up the Earth space station.

He's also the reason that I use this particular avatar instead of anything else that could possibly reference Star Control.

Oh, and I'd like a $9.99 code, please.

Iolo from Ultima IV-IX. $5.99 code please.

I played Ultima V several years after Ultima IV, but I imported my character from the final saved game of Ultima IV. The first person I ran into was Iolo and he greeted me by my real first name. For a moment I was dumbstruck. How did he know? Then I realized I must have named my avatar after myself (something I rarely do). That is one of my fondest gaming moments. Thanks Lord British!
