IAmSinistar: Noctropolis, which I would like to see GOG bring back next in the FMV game line.
Heh, since it's an EA game I'll at least tweet Jeff Skalski. ;)

Thanks, I was thinking it could be a possibility. Though this part in their company bio is a bit worrying:

"Flashpoint was sold to Bethesda Softworks in 1996 and became Bethesda's west coast development wing."

Bethesda seems to be a stonewall these days. :/

We can always hope EA is the rights' owner, instead of Flashpoint/Bethesda... I had never even heard of this game and the more I read about it, the more videos and screenshots I watch, the more I want to play it. Voted for it in the Community Wishlist, would absolutely buy it if it ever made its way to GOG.

It wasn't well known during its release, apart from having some underground cachet due to featuring nudity. But it's certainly a different enough game to warrant a revival here. Too few games back in the day tackled the subject matter of superheroes, much less original ones and in an adult setting.

D'oh! Maybe that is a problem. I always only look at the publisher and if they're still in business I assume the publishing rights are with them.

Bethesda seems to be the worst place for properties to go. They are in love with the Fallout franchise but only cranked out one game and out sourced another game after all these years. 3 was even built open Oblivion more or less making it a mod! Elder Scrolls STILL gets all the love.

They very well could be. This is EA we're talking about, after all. And Flashpoint only seems to have created two games, so quite possibly none of their properties conveyed to Bethesda, but simply their staff.

Let me know if your initial contact bears fruit or not, because I'd like our research team to work on getting this game if it's viable.

Oh, well to be honest I've tweeted Jeff numerous times; he doesn't always respond. (although he's said he doesn't mind me tweeting him) I pretend like he's keeping what I bring up - Jungle Strike, the Sherlock Holmes games, etc. - on file somewhere even if he isn't actually. ;)

You might be better off suggesting the game to GOG support or Turnipslayerr in a quick message.

Yes, I was going to ping him with this one a bit later down the line. I already have a couple games in the queue with him and don't want to overload him at the moment. :)

Oh, you could try tweeting Jeff yourself, too. (if you have a twitter account) A different person tweeting him might make him more likely to notice.
Definitely the Postal series. Same mix of extreme violence, psychological horror and irreverent humor.
