Just in case you Mac users hadn't noticed, Valve has released the original Half-Life and Counter-Strike for Mac without any announcement. Both games are shown in my Steam games list with (beta) after the names.

It would be very cool if they package up Deathmatch Classic, Team Fortress Classic and the original Day of Defeat too. I'd go back and revisit these for some fun.

I wonder why they bothered not that I am complaining. I think it is great.

Weren't both released for Linux too?

It wouldn't surprise me but I can't tell looking in my Mac client. They store pages don't yet note OS X versions either, I imagine because they are still in beta.

Oops, guess Linux did get them too. Cool!
