This is actually a funny day for me. See, a friend of mine was born the same day MJ died, and he is a HUGE MJ fan. So this day is like Judgment Day for him. =)
RIP plastic man,
He will be missed.

He was my idol, my mentor and my inspiration. It's because of him I do volunteer work, donate blood and money for children, don't eat meat, don't drink alcohol, don't smoke, etc ...
He showed us that there can be good in this sad world. Even when the media and people started to try to drag him down, he rose above them and proved that nothing is stronger than the power of love!
Some of his older stuff are good. The newer stuff is uninspiring tripe.
I cannot see why he was so special that they could make a 2 hour program about how special he was. Yeah, he was an artist who went kinda nuts. He could dance. So what.
There are so many artists, dead and alive, who are so much better than MJ.
They ended the program with saying "We are not going to see another artist like MJ in our lifetime"
Bullcrap.
So yeah, he died, requiescat in pace and all that jazz. But let it go. Please. He was just another man.
Just let him die guys...
Something California wishes they did before they charged 9 million through the tax dollars of their citizens due to his funeral.

This is either a really good sarcastic post or this is a sad post of truth.

michaelleung: He makes more money dead than alive. So I think he can have one less sad person.

Same is true of virtually any artist. At least immediately after their death, if not long after.
