Does anyone here remember a 2D Helicopter simulator in a top-down view, the graphics were kinda "Commandos-like" in terms of rendered backgrounds, if you get me, I'm pretty sure you were in a Hind gunship too, and you had a really limited fuel supply that could quickly run out. I believe it was on the PS1, though I'm remembering from ages ago...

Any ideas?

Sounds like part of the *strike series. Probably nuclear strike.
*edit* or more likely Soviet Strike

Though check out the older games. The PS1 and later games had 3d graphics, while Jungle & Desert strike were isometric 2d.

There was one on the PS1 like that . And I played the shit out of it. It's probably not the one you're thinking of, but reading your post reminded me of it. Can't think of the name atm.

It was something like this. This may be it.

Yep, that's definitely it, though it was probably Soviet Strike if I'm remembering a Hind.

Hey, isn't Electronic Arts on GoG? And Nuclear Strike is on PC too
