So i have a slight problem and i am not sure what it means or what to do about it.

I have 2 credits cards for the same bank, one of them was for when i was under 18 and once i reached 18 i transfered my balance to my new credit card.

Fast forward to 1 month ago, i attempted to buy 2 items from an online retailer and accidently used my old card on paypal, even though it only had about 2.00 euro on it (not enough to pay for the items) the payment went through. However my bank sent me a letter saying they would charge me a 10 euro fee on my account for not having suffient funds.

Anyway i just got a letter showing my balance for the old account and it is in the negative at -6 euros... so what does this mean? Will they try to get my to pay that or can it just stay there since it's a low amount?

What should i do about this? I'm a bit nervous about talking on phones so i don't think i should phone them up but what does this mean and how should i deal with this?

Just pay it off and cut up the old card. I take it you mean debit and not credit cards, as with credit cards you're effectively spending their money anyway, so they won't get pissy about that. With debit cards you need to have the money in your account already in order to buy stuff without getting hit by overdrawing fees. Just pay it off and keep that in mind in future.

Go to the bank and see how you can sort it out as fast as you can. It's only 6 euros ffs, and banks always have a way of effectively using your debts again you.
take out the remaining money, change your name, dye your hair, lose/gain some fat and move to another country.
if you don't make any mistakes bank will simply close the account and forget about it.

so you will be six euro richer.
Like Navagon said, it sounds more like it was a debit card and you've just gone overdrawn on the old current account associated with it. You could probably just sort it by going down to the bank with the €6 and the card and explain the situation to someone.
Whoah whoah whoah. Stop. Go read the paper(s) you signed with the bank. The contract lists everything you should know about your cards and balance management. If you're not careful, they just might slip you an "overdrawn" fee that's a lot more than €10. It varies from bank to bank, but generally the american, or the unregulated ones, can quickly slip you a (massive) charge just because.
