From more 'real ones' I'll be happy to see Nexus Jupiter Incident. Awasome space strategy and avaiable on stem.
Drakan. 'Nuff said.

I remember playing it way back when, and would love for another opportunity to have it in my possession. Or GOG's, I guess. I'm confused now.
REGARDLESS, the game was great.
Another game I'd like to see is Call of Cthulhu, Dark Corners of the earth. Was released 2006 for the PC which isn't as old as most games on gog, but there are some games from 2005 so it wouldn't be a bad idea, and I'd be happy to get this for the PC instead of having to find it for the xbox.
If EA ever makes it to the fold (who knows, we can always hope) I'd like to play Armies of Exigo. It's an RTS that had two levels of gameplay (a top level and an underground one). I remember playing the demo and liking it, but the game never made any waves. Then again, maybe it wasn't that good if it didn't make waves, so I don't know if it'll ever make the cut to be on GOG.
Dark Sun 2: Wake of the Ravager, the CD version fixed for the new operating systems. I used to have an old official copy, but could never get it to run with music and voice at the same time for some reason, despite my best efforts. Sure: the un-patched release was seething with bugs, but I wouldn't mind purchasing from GOG simply because of the great job they do with fixing the compatibilities, updating and fixing games for the new OSes.
Moreover, the Dark Sun series is one of the closest 'classic' games to modern day Baldur's Gate. It was a huge leap from the Gold Box engine, and importantly the stories and world were more detailed, easily navigated, and an improvement from the hack-n-slash of yesteryear. The combat system was more tactical and graphically accommodating, and the range of options (for example Dark Sun 1's were multiple methods of escaping prison - and red herrings that let to your being caught!) were more innovative (or at least more involving).
Dark Sun 2 (and 1, but I'm happy with that remaining abandonware) was overlooked at the time of publication due to RPG / DnD RPG fatigue, and technical problems. I've always thought it a shame the engine was not utilised in the same prolific fashion as the Gold Box, but regret is naturally wasted. Running Dark Sun 2 with voicework and sound-track next to my equally immersive Black-Isle collection would be a great joy.

Two games I would very much like to see on GOG are:
(a) Dark Earth: Adventure game by Kalypso, I think. Very moody , good graphics for its times and an extremely engaging story. Few copies still available on e-bay/amazon but just can't find any way to make it work reliably on Windows 7!
(b) The Last Express: Jordan Mechner is a genius and what he touches is gaming gold (move aside Midas!). An absolutely awesome adventure that needs to be experienced. The rotoscoped animations weren't pretty looking even then, but somehow just grew on me. The story is very mature and the ending is poignant. The most "mature" stories in games today feel are childish compared to the subtle layering, geo-political awareness and emotional complexity of this masterpiece. It is available on Gametap, but I would rather own it outright, DRM free, rather than have to log on to their service each time I want to play the game.
Keeping with tradition on this thread.....GOG, please, please, please ......! ;)
Age of Wonders series - My favorite turn based series of all time.
Alpha Centauri - My 2nd favorite turn based game of all time :)
Yes please! Crusader: No Remorse and No Regret are instant buys!!!
Any chances to get these two???
Dungeon Keeper 1-2.
Just a notice to everyone who hasn't discovered it yet, don't just post the game titles hare, vote for them on the wishlist as well.
I wish to see more games from UbiSoft.
I'm especially waiting for Heroes Chronicles (very rare) and HoMM IV. These are real GoGs that deserve to be here.

Microids is a goldmine for adventure games, it's really strange to see exactly 0 of them here. At least Still Life and Syberia 1&2 would be nice.
I'd like to see and Urban Chaos here. That's Mucky Foot's entire PC game history - they made a console game called Blade 2, but it was apparently pretty bad, and the studio dissolved shortly after.
StarTopia was sort of like Dungeon Keeper In Spaaaaace! Lots of different aliens to manage and accomodate, and they all have different skills, running around doing their own thing. You build on a huge decrepit donut-shaped spacestation, taking it over section by section - by force if someone already owns that section. Keep the aliens happy, make money, expand to your heart's content. The main missions were quite short, almost a glorified tutorial unfortunately, but the sandbox mode was tons of fun. Lots of options for customizing sandbox mode, once the patch(es?) were installed. Oh, and the Biodome was awesome - it has an incredibly fun and simple terraforming system. And then you start sprouting plants everywhere, which you can move to pots elsewhere in the station! My inner gardener was most pleased.
Urban Chaos I don't know quite as much about, since I never owned it, but from what I gather it was fun but didn't sell well. It was melee fist-fighting beat-em-up type game, but with a plot, and good characters. It had some kind of freestyle fighting system, possibly something like Zelda or Prince Persia, though like I said I never played it. From what I gather the missions were very nonlinear, like Deus Ex - big self-contained areas to explore, do sidequests, beat criminals senseless, etc. I'd love to see it here so I could try it.

Blood 2 the chosen and clive barkers undying
Ah, good, it's still around. I was worried I'd managed to kill this thread.
I'll add 2 more games while I'm at it. These ones are a bit more unconventional...
Vangers: One for the Road was... well, this is one of those games that wasn't so much "brilliant" as "totally unique". A somewhat freeform racing/driving game, with combat and rpg elements mixed in, I'd be willing to bet that it has never, ever been imitated. The story was weird. I can't even begin to explain it, but suffice it to say you start out ferrying little eggs and vials of phlegm for some worm-like guys, and it just gets stranger from then onward. All the bizarre vehicles you could drive/buy/build had little paper dolls like an rpg, and you could attach various bits of equipment/weaponry to them. Driving around the very organic environments was quite a bit of fun, and the physics were crazy, with cars hopping about (yes, cars can jump in this game) and rebounding off the *deformable* terrain. The reviews of it mostly declared it "average", but it really is a good old game - just not a game most gamers considered worth the $60+ it originally cost. At 9.99 or 5.99, I'd highly recommend it as an unsurpassed mind-screw of cthulhuesque proportions with some gameplay thrown in for good measure.
Micropolis is SimCity. Or rather, it's not Simcity, because Electronic Arts owns the trademark on the name SimCity. Micropolis is the open source code released by EA for the OLPC and everyone else, named Micropolis because that was supposedly the original development name for SimCity. Unfortunately, being released under GPL, I have no idea if that means it can be distributed for money or not. Nor can I even begin to guess at how to install the thing, because whatever state it's in right now is incredibly intimidating to a non-programmer like me. Of course, if EA has shown any hesitant interest in having SimCity on gog, then it may be best to just ignore Micropolis in case having it alienates them in some way. I don't really know. I just had a nostalgia attack when I found out about it and decided to list it here anyway. :)
