Grim Fandango
Never got the full game, I'd love to have it. From about 1998, the demo is still out there. Took me about a day and a half to download the demo when it came out (gotta love dial up!)
A lot of style, written by Tim Schafer and put out by Lucasarts.

PERFECT for gog.com.
I see it's already got 1198 votes.

Yes!!! Can't believe no one else bought this up earlier... Has a heap of votes already, but we need to up those numbers people. This is easily the best adventure game I've played past or present with a truly original story... GRIM FANDANGO people. Vote for it!!!

chautemoc: Darrrrrrrrrk Messiah? :)
Not many votes -- loved what I played of the demo.
Oh also, Darwinia!!

You can get both of those off Steam.
I'd definitely love to see Dungeon Master 2 on GOG.

I hate Steam. Why do you think I'm here? :)
well we'll see what the future brings but i'd vote for grim fandango and the serious sam series :)
Since IL-2 1946 is in catalogue is there a chance for Pacific Fighters too or it's included in 1946 pack already?
I hope too for some nice space strategies :-).

Correct, 1946 has all content in it.

Okay, thx. I doesn't install it yet :-). In that case waiting for some space strategies & sims releases...
It's been mentioned sporadically, but I would love to see Monolith getting some more love. Blood and the expansion pack would be awesome, and Blood 2 would be an interesting choice as well, given it plays exactly like Shogo. I know it sucks, but I do have some memories of Blood 2 being fun, if only for all the dark humor and over the top violence.
The only thing I see stopping Blood from getting picked up is the fact that GT Interactive published it, not Monolith. However, UT is on here and GT Interactive published that as well, so there is a glimmer of hope.
The Chronicles of Riddick: Escape from Butcher Bay (Not the redone version in Assault on Dark Athena since, well, I can't run it.).
Dungeon Lord.
Ummm...Morrowind if Bethesda isn't a bitch about it ($20 on Steam is fine with me if I can find some decent mods for it.)
And probably Civilization.
That's about all I can think of.

This.
Baldur's Gate! That's reasonable! The only other way to play now is getting it cracked. That, or hoping Amazon used sellers don't violate you with $60 boxes. (hint: that's not happening).
Why is it illegal to download a cracked game if there's NO WAY to buy it anymore?
The DMCA exemptions sort of go there, allowing cracking of a game for archival purposes, but nothing about allowing DRM to be circumvented if you want the game, and it's not readily available at all.
Dark Messiah please. :(
And Grandia II.
!

If by Dark Messiah you mean the recent Dark Messiah of Might and Magic, you would be lucky to get it here as a kid would to see Santa for real...I need to learn how to sentence things properly...

The irony of your sentence blows my mind.
Anyway, why would you say that?

Because 1) Santa isn't real and a kid seeing an 'actual santa' may end up in the disappearance/murder of the child (I am one disturbed kid...), and 2) It is a quite recent game and I don't think Ubisoft will give a recent game to us for $9.99 when it still does decent on the console and PC market.
