It certainly looks like an interactive episode of the series, with many references to old characters. But it doesn't show how exploration and combat are gonna work. A demo before release wouldn't hurt.

It's an Obsidian game. Of course I will buy it.

Oh you fanboy, there's some Obsidian games I just won't buy because I understand they are made for a different audience and even Obsidian only does them to pay the bills. Don't tell me you thought Dungeon Siege 3 or Alpha Protocol were good RPG's now...

A good combination for me. I really enjoyed the early days of South Park, I also really enjoy Obsidian's games. Yes, I think I will buy it. My only question is when? Certainly not day 1 but eventually.

Dungeon Siege 3 was ok. Not great or anything, but ok. Alpha Protocol, though? In terms of the actual roleplaying, yes, it was pretty damn great, as far as I'm concerned.

About this one: probably getting it. I like SP ok, and since the show runners are writing it, this might be a fun one.

Reason enough for me.

And of course Alpha Protocol wasn't good. It was utterly brilliant. Well, if you only like the mainstream crap, then you probably won't like it. But if you are willing to take up innovation, it was a masterpiece.

Never played Dungeon Siege 3.

I enjoy South Park and am curious to see how this turns out.

Alpha Protocol was fantastic, haven't played DS 3 though.

Obsidian makes me think of a not as good Troika.

Their stuff isn't bad, just not perfect.

I loved Alpha Protocol, once I played it with an Xbox controller on the PC I could finally get past the stupid hacking puzzles and enjoy the game.

I have yet to play DS3, though I hear that it is fun, just not great.

Oh, how I do love seeing others who liked Alpha Protocol. I was skeptical when I got it as a gift, but after playing it for the first hour I had such a blast with it (pun intended).

Alpha Protocol was outstanding.
