Greetings humble minions!
I mean...greetings kind people (You are not supreme ruler yet Detlik, calm yourself).
I plan to play Oblivion...again. I miss the magical line : STOP RIGHT THERE CRIMINAL SCUM. And after that magical sentence I would nuke them to orbit with my too powerful mage class....anyway I want to start it again and modded. I will use the FCOM Convergence of course and the unofficial patches but what other mods should I use?

I would want my game to be hard...like unforgiving hard. I would like some magic added (thus I am considering Midas Magic mod). Then some more dungeons, player houses...kind of things that could be in expansions. New armor would be nice too, but I can live without that. And more music of course, but that kind that would fit lore etc.

Simply put, what mods are best and which ones would you recommend to me? (Feel free to recommend any mod you love)

P.S: Sorry, it may seem like "I am too lazy to find those mods myself, please to do it for me" thread...and honestly...that is kinda my purpose in this thread. Rather then to browse hundreds of mods and find 2 that are what I would like, I hope I could ask here and some kind soul would recommend me a mod, which that person already knows, that would fit my purposes.

This might be the complete opposite of what you want, since it's a TC that's essentially a new game, but Nehrim has been on my radar recently. It hits some of your checkboxes (new music, harder, new dungeons, new map), but it is not Oblivion and there's no criminal scum VO's. Or maybe there are, not certain, since the VO is only in German.
Quarls Texture Pack is a must for modern hardware. Makes the game visuals and texture work look amazing. Elven Map Redux makes the world map look great instead of the flat cream color stock one.

Also grab Reclaiming Sancre Tor. Not a mod as such. Its an expansion with loads of extra quests and a good few hours play. You cant start it though until you have finished the main Oblivion story questline. It is really good.

For mod management OBMM (Oblivion Mod Manager) is a must, it tells you if any mods you have are conflicting and makes managing your mods much easier.

GO AWAY! YOU SHALL NOT TAKE MY FREEDOM!

FCOM is the mod that you want.
Installed most of the stuff you recommended (except Nehrim...I will try that out later). Anyone has more tips? :)
