I'm wondering why there is no preorder for The Banner Saga which release is next week on tuesday.
The developers said that they consider to release the game on GOG too.
Steam has a preorder option with a free DLC. The DLC is only free if you preorder.

The other thing is people have mentioned drm free version (non steam) is coming AFTER the steam launch which if its actually true ..kind sucks :/...and probably explains why no pre order

Game might be DRM free on Steam. It seems like the kind of game that would do that. Just presenting that as an option for those who might want it sooner than later.

I'll likely get it day one on Steam so I can report back on the DRM status.

Probably we have to wait several weeks as in Shadowrun case.
