Fictionvision: Isn't that due mainly to Nintendo never dropping the price on their games?
Neobr10: They don't? I think you haven't been following the game's market. There are many older Nintendo games for Wii that had a price cut sometime after release, like Super Mario Galaxy, Super Paper Mario, Zelda Twilight Princess, Donkey Kong COuntry Returns, Metroid Other M, and the list goes on. I go to my local game's store once a week, so i know quite a bit about game's prices. The prices here follow the ones in US, by the way.
Nintendo did do a Player's Choice or whatever it was called line for the Wii eventually, but their games are notorious for staying high. Also Other M dropped because the game was widely hated by fans for the horrible story.
For example. Super Mario Galaxy 2 is still $50. Even Super Mario 64 DS still retails for $30, and that game is going on 9 years old now. New Super Mario Brothers Wii and DS still have $50 and $35 retail prices on them. You can sometimes catch the games on a sale, especially if they have been out a while. But for official price drops, Nintendo games don't see them often unless they are retail disappointments.
