Ric1987: Exactly, I'm kind of surprised Ultima VII and Gothic 3 were released so close to the sale. Then again, that might be exactly why Gothic was released then, that game has a pretty poor reputation and sales for it are probably much higher than they'd normally be.
Ultima VII was an instabuy for those ppl who would buy it for a full price.

And Gothic 3 - I have no idea, but you may be right.

Although I don't know why it has so bad reputation, because screens look very nice.
The bad reputation was probably for the buggy unoptimized first release.

From what I've read, with the community patch fixing most of that, the game is actually quite good.

Maybe, but Gothic 3 was worse than normal. Nearly unplayable on release.
Taking like 4 weeks off for the Holidays is a bit blah in my opinion, but that might be because I addicted to new GOGs.
Take a break yourself; stop buying, start playing! That's what holidays are for, right? ;)
