It was one of many titles targeted by the "Video games are evil and the cause of all problems in the world" crowd. The premise of the game is that several women are trapped in a house and you are a special agent with access to CCTV cameras and electronic doors. You watch what is happening to these women and act at the right times and in the correct ways to free them. It was touted as being an interactive horror/suspense movie more so than a game. It wasn't very well known until some idiotic US Senators used it as an excuse to grandstand and show their relevance. They talked about this evil game where the object was to capture and kill helpless women.
