I've been hearing about how much does Nickelback suck, over the years. Being referenced to as the worst band ever and such.

Anyway, I checked out a few of their songs and while it's not something that I would listen to and the ones I've checked did sound a little alike, but what exactly is so infuriating about them, that people loathe them so bloody much?

Wouldn't throw them in the "worst band ever" can from my first impressions.

They really aren't the worst band ever. They just suck about as much as the rest of top 40 radio.
