well, since Phantasmagoria is from Sierra we may be sure about two things:
-if it come to GOG - it will come with all mighty sierra series (gabriel knight, Quests series, Larry and more...) - woohoo!
-i'd like to be wrong - but i think we won't see Sierra on GOG soon - boohoo :(
...and kudos for another Tex on GOG :)

I'm so hyped by all the postive comments, I felt as though I NEED to be a part of this.
Will purchase tonight... though I've no idea what it's all about (other than being an adventure game) :)

As for me, i'm glad we are one more step closer to Overseer! Can't wait :D

This is the only Tex Murphy FMV I haven't played yet. I got started on the Tex Murphy series with Under a Killing Moon, probably when it came out, I supposed. I don't really remember, I was very young at the time... maybe 10 years old? I loved it, I loved the great story and most of all Chris Jones is a great Tex Murphy! Sarcastic, down-on-his-luck, smart-mouthed, he's great. I really hope they do some more Tex games, especially since I heard they bought the rights back to the Tex Murphy series.
I think, though, that of the two, Overseer was, by far, my favorite Tex game. It took the glory of great storylines and acting that UAKM had and produced an even finer product. But, of course, I'm biased :D
If you guys really like adventure games with fantastic plot, I'd suggest looking at Heavy Rain, a PS3 game that will come out by year's end in 2009. Of all the videos I've seen of it, it looks like it really could be a great game, and if it lives up to the hype, maybe it could help nudge adventure games back to the forefront of gaming again. I think great adventure games that are wonderfully acted could help validate and legitimize video games as much as cinema is.

Yes, it's already out, and a sequel is being prepared as we speak. One word of warning, though: TCM is a "hidden object" game with a plot and some puzzles, not a regular adventure game. Still, if you buy it, you are supporting the next Tex Murphy game!

yeah they have i heard the project fendorra was based on a character from the murphy series tho not murphy himself johhny fedorra? as soon as i heard about three cards to midnight it being made from the dynamic dou but it is nothing like tx games its got a got storyline but it is a glorified hide and seek game

The Pandora Directive, an adventure game with it's own walktrough... I love it! :D
Are other Tex Murphy games like that? 'cause I might as well buy them all right away :D
