After releasing Space Quest 4+5+6 in the first place, now we give you a chance to see the very beginnings of this awesome series.
[url=http://www.gog.com/en/search/sort/search/space%20quest]Space Quest is a classic adventure game series by Sierra. The first two installments require text input to interact with the environment, but Space Quest 3 is of the more modern point-and-click variety. Despite the lack of full-talkie voiceovers, you'll surely recognize the witty, sarcastic humor and cunning sci-fi references you know and love from the later installments. Afterwards you'll be surprised how easy it is to die when you're a janitor in the distant future... I won't go into details regarding each game's story, because it's only logical to assume that you WILL play them, because they're THAT good. So what are you waiting for? The universe needs you (to clean the toilet on deck seven)!
Such fond memories...
I was never much of a Space Quest fan, but these definitely belong on GOG.
Nice release for all you adventure fans.
Oh and think you should say "The first two installments require text not test input"
Haha! Releasing Space Quest 1+2+3 on the same day that Starcraft 2 goes live ... coincidence ;)
I was dreading the $9.99 pricepoint for these though.
I have the collection release for XP which, along with a community patch, runs perfectly, so I don't need this.
For those who do not own these games though, this is a MUST. Space Quest is the closest Sierra ever came to the hilarious Lucasarts games and are great PnC games all around.
Finally, now I feel like getting the game if we have the whole series here now.
Good to see the whole collection up now. I still have too many games to play :\ But I've been meaning to check these out at some point as I somehow missed them completely on release.
Note to GOG staff: Front page promo graphic has $5.99, but is listed $9.99 everywhere else.

You might want to decide what the price is - the image says $5.99, the sidebars give $9.99.
Please don't say the higher price is the one...
Space Quest was the very first game i ever purchased for the PC. I spent many hours typing in phrases to try to figure out what to do and how to accomplish tasks.
Very fun and found memories of a day gone by.
Good work GOG, good work! That's the way: old games :)
Now this is true to the site's name, 17 MB of pure good ol' gaming. It's great to have entire series of games in this store, not talking just about Space Guest. :)

Yesterday I dreamed about how wonderful would be to have StarCraft here, drm-free, available worldwide on GOG... at the very same day of the StarCraft 2 release. :p

Especially as the VGA remake is missing from the pack. Why, by the way?

Read somewhere that is has to do that Activision sells the whole pack at steam for 20 bucks. They don't want to change the price, so they have to seperate it to enfore the steam price.
