I'll let you know this evening. Should be fine. It doesn't require much to run. I'd just need to play it for a while to find out whether they'd sorted the random crashing that happened when trying to run my original copy in XP.
bought it just now. i have never played it before. i hope its bug free. looking forward to experiencing it for the first time.

Worked like a charm on our testbed netbook. :)

Better to be happy than ALWAYS ANGRY ALL THE TIME. ;)

We focused on removing the repeatable crashes which almost always happened after you performed certain actions in the game. As a result the game didn't crash randomly as well on our systems. It's possible it might crash on some systems, but these should be extremely rare. We're pretty sure we have the most stable version of Sanitarium out there. ;)

Ahh but that could just be a cunning trick to get me to buy it. A cunning trick that may well work depending on my bank balance on friday...
If you test most games on netbooks, it might be a good idea to make some kind of "This works with a netbook" stamp for the game pages (well only for the pages where the games work on netbooks)

I must be one of those rare cases, it crashed twice after using the towel and the VCR in the opening scene. I'm on Windows Vista 32-bit. Any suggestions?

So you're touting the stability of something focussed on the inherently unstable? Ever considered going into politics?
I did not see this one coming.
Though I've never played this game I am a big horror fan. You can expect to see my funds arriving in your coffers for this game soon.
Buckets....
I'm going to need plenty of Buckets.... and a few towels.

I've been waiting for this to appear on GOG. It's one of the best adventure games ever made!
Nice game, I've been waiting for a chance to play it. ;)
This is the 2002 re-release, right? So what's the resolution? Any widescreen hack?
My all-time Adventure Games Top 3:
-The Pandora Directive
-Sanitarium
-Grim Fandango
And now two of them are available from GOG. Awesome!
For those who haven't heard about this game and are shocked with all the praise: yes, it's that good.
