Just in case people haven't heard, there's a new release of ScummVM out. Nothing massive but it adds 4 new games which is never a bad thing and the GUI using XML will make it nice and easy to mod.
Notes:

General:
- Added MIDI driver for Atari ST / FreeMint.
- Added a 'Load' button to the Launcher (not supported by all engines).
- Added a new global main menu (GMM) dialog usable from all engines.
- Added the ability to return to the launcher from running games (via the GMM).
- Rewrote GUI renderer to use an vector based approach.
- Rewrote GUI configuration to use XML.
New Games:
- Added support for Blue's 123 Time Activities.
- Added support for Blue's ABC Time Activities.
- Added support for Bud Tucker in Double Trouble.
- Added support for The 7th Guest.
KYRA:
- Added support for Auto-save feature.
- Added support for MIDI music.

I was hoping this update might affect the GOG installers, but it looks like I was wrong.
Oh awesome, the 7th Guest is a great game. I'm hoping it'll show up on GOG as a single installer simply because faffing around with SCUMM on Vista always seems to give me nightmares.
Does this cover the iPhone version?

Pretty sure it wouldn't. The more esoteric versions for PDAs, consoles and the like are usually ported by other teams but now this code is out, they'll probably be working on it

Does ScummVM actually auto-update? Presumably you could just grab the unzip & run version and replace the GOG version with the new one.
Hell now the interface is in XML, a GOG-branded version that consolidates all the installed games would rock harder than the bastard love child of Black Sabbath & In Flames

Well, the download page has a 13.0 iPhone .deb, so I would guess so.

No, it doesn't, and yes, you could.

Hehe, I doubt that's going to happen, though.
I like starting my games from within ScummVM (installed separately) - so I just install the GOG games, and then point ScummVM to the game folder.
This way it also keeps the desktop from being cluttered with game icons :)
