I agree with a few of the previous posters. The cover is good, otherwise... eh, yay?
Please tell us that a high-res version of the cover is one of the wallpapers or among the artworks.
You all complain too much, in fact GOG brought you a probable gem. It is not a classic but it can be good. I have loved "Archimedean Dynasty" and I am going to try out both Aquanox titles.
My pattern of passing up releases holds. I should start a count. Most of the games releases recently I already own, but are great. This does not fall into that category. No interest. Great cover art, but that's not enough to get me to buy.
Adding this to wish list.. Never heard of it, but it actually looks kinda cool
More crap on gog :(

Catshade: Um...yay?
no
Hmm, little bit odd that when they announce publishers, they usually have a game or 3 of theirs to show...but with Atari we'll be almost two weeks since the news with nothing to see yet.

Ois: How's the voice acting in this sequel? The first game was not the best for some characters.
I don't know enough to praise it or rip into it, but it's nice to see other games in a series here when we have at least one.

Well, while the first game voice cast was entirely composed of nobodies (they had no other roles according to IMDB), there are a few known voices in the sequel.
- Jonathan Failla (Hero in Two worlds, Narrator in The Settlers 2, Ramadamses in The Settlers 3) voices Fuzzyhead.
- Doug Cockle (Geralt of Rivia in The Witcher, Director Hanson in Second Sight) voices Hank Bellows.
- Eric Hansen (Septimus Marius in The Settlers 3) voices Nat.
- Everal Walsh (Ramsmeat in The Witcher) voices Stoney.
This is all I could find. I never heard the voice acting itself, so I can't comment.
Thank you so much GOG, this is awesome... You guys are amazing!
and stop with the hate guys, if you don't like it don't buy it... no need to have negative comments... This is a very fun very exciting game, its the mass effect formula rather its story with mission segments and its absolutely beautiful!
Great addition. The Aquanox series has always been an underrated gem. It's got a cool Wing Commander vibe to it, and the underwater theme makes it fresh and exciting.
Does it have a multiplayer mode?
I would love to play a game like this in multiplayer, but far too few of the games in the genre have that.
By the way, I don't think GOG should just go for "the greatest video game classics!!!!", but also forgotten gems, or my favourite scenario would be to have a comprehensive archive of most games made before 2000, so you could possibly pick up all those strange titles you used to see at the game store shelves but didn't buy in time before it disappeared never to be heard of again. Not necessarily bad games, but maybe just "average" or even really good games that just didn't get any attention.
I know I'd pick up some rather poorly recieved or even unknown titles occasionally if they were available. Games like Necrodome, Dominion: Storm over Gift 3, WarWind 1 & 2, Strife, Anachronox ... and Daikatana.
Anachronox, OOoooo i do want to play that and Omikron: The Nomad Soul i would die a happy man to see them on GOG.... as for Daikatana i own the retail box... and i thought it was a lot of fun and really enjoyed it... to many people played it with the negative hype in there mind and called it trash... same thing happened to Gunman Chronicles, that was a very very fun as hell game but got bad reviews and no one ever gave it a chance. heavy Metal FAKK2 is another awesome classic that fell to the wayside.

No, it doesn't have MP either.
Actually Aquanox2: Revelation is more or less a story game. A multiplayer like Freelancer had it would have been amazing, true, but I guess it wouldn't have been worth the effort. It just wouldn't play out as great (think of travel distances without warpgates/lanes) anyways.
But I agree, more games in this genre could use a decent muliplayer.

lowyhong: The game's cover is awesome though. Actually, it's quite possibly the best one on GOG.com. Better than Bloodrayne too.

Hahah. Funny guy.

Actually Aquanox2: Revelation is more or less a story game.

Well, I can't say I mind that either. I guess I'll pick up both Aquanox games next month or so, but I feel I've used up my singleplayer game budget for this month, and feel quite starved on multiplayer space(/sub) combat games.
