Don't be excited. It's a terrible mobile phone game.

"4 Mobile". Ugh.
Nope.
At least it doesn't look like they're going to make you wait 24h to do something as basic as constructing a sidewalk. Not that that's much of a consolation.
What the? Atari is still alive? It should have died already, at least they wouldn't turn classic franchises into "social" pay 2 win mobile crap.

What the fuck is wrong with publishers these days? Turning classic franchises into social mobile crap seems to be the trend now. EA did it with Dungeon Keeper, Rebellion did it with Evil Genious and now Atari wants to follow the model. Why? I'm pretty sure most Dungeon Keeper/ Evil Genious/ RCT fans are not interested in a social game.

Why ressuect an old franchise to make a game that's not even targeted at its fans? It doesn't make any sense.

By the way, i tried playing the Evil Genious facebook game. It's garbage. You just click on stuff and things happen. There's no strategy involved or anything. You just click on stuff and that's it.
When Atari was using the "RCT4M" hashtag, it was pretty obvious it was going to be a mobile game. Nothing to be really surprised (or shocked) about here.

Are you sure about that? These social games usually involve some kind of "time limit" in which you can play. They can do it by either an energy system or by making it too slow to do stuff.

I doubt RCT4 will be any different.

I had thought I saw something which said it would be "buy to play" AKA a normal sale, but I guess I was mistaken because I can't find anything official to that effect.

Welp, that sucks.
Ah Roller Coaster Tycoon 4 Mobile, the game where instead of you ripping of your theme park goers with price gouching, the developers rip you off with price gouching instead.

Since you guys have apparently already played it and have some pretty damning things to say, what about a little bit more of a review? Just what is the "price gouching" involved and just what makes it so terrible?
Ah Atari. Isn't this the forth time that the dead brand has been brought back, thrice in name only?

Maybe it is best to wait and see what the game actually is before casting ny judgement? It may very possibly be crap, but there is just nothing much known about it at all. Innocent until proven guilty, and so on.

It's known to be a free to play mobile game. Yes it's possible it's completely different from every other modern f2p mobile game but I wouldn't count on it.

neither do I, but I do actually refuse to cast judgment on something not actually completed yet. I will wait until the game is released.

That's fair enough but I can very much understand people's scepticism.

There was talk of a proper RCT mobile game back when EA crapped out the Theme Park skinned version of Pay Or Wait (because let's face it, all these 'games' are identical aside from the graphics). Then the people who were supposed to be making it went bankrupt, and now someone else is doing this, apparently unrelated version.
