Congrats!

In for:

- Penumbra Collection
- Up to $6 of games of my choice
- Corsairs Gold
- Defender's Quest

Thank you!
RWarehall, all the blessings for the new work place and indeed hopefully better circumstances all around.
Thank you for the generous occasion, +1.

I'd like to be in for the $6 title please (just in case the RNG gods and other forces involved would wink my way, Blade of Darkness be my choice).

In the past I've moved on from jobs, where I felt I couldn't express how I felt about the work situation and/or my superiors, without getting fired afterwards. You know, the situation where you ask yourself, what am I doing here? I'm supposed to brush the egos of these assclowns just to keep my job?

Congratulations and thank you (+1).
In for:
1) Up to $6 of games of your choice.
Congrats!

In for 6 dollar game and +1 :)
Not in but +1 and I like your rules. I wish I had a cool story to tell about leaving a job, but I was too high to form any memories of any of the occasions. Cheers!
I'm in for GOG $6 choice; +1 thanks for the giveaway.

Regarding wanting to quit a job, my current job is a desk job pushing papers and not what I went to school for (mental health) so although it pays the bills I often wonder about taking a "lesser" more meaningful position.
Thanks for the giveaway, I'm in for:
1) GOG game of my choice

I don't really have a story since I'm actually still in my first job since graduating. I've been in it longer than any of my coworkers so I have seen plenty of them moving on to other things. Makes me feel depressed whenever someone leaves so I've been thinking on doing the same thing. Just need to get off the procrastinating comfort zone, and do something.
Congratulations on your new job, I am in for Defender's Quest , thanks.

RWarehall: 3) Since I like this rule, you must have an avatar that is not the default. You also must have a title that is not "New User".
In your face! And +1 for the giveaway.

Wishbone:
I'm seeing a similar trend in my company (well not the company in my country, but our exclusive customer in US). Maybe I should begin to look for something new :D.

As for RWarehall, congrats on your new job. Sometimes you have to take a step in a different direction to move forward :).

The last job I quit was my teaching position at the university (which I was working in the same time with my current job). I lasted heroically for about 7 years, but my health began to deteriorate, I still struggle to loose the weight I gained in that period. The pay was awful, though the job itself wasn't too hard. But then they've begun demanding a PhD degree in order to teach, but I wasn't in the mood to spend time on that also, and I wasn't inclined either to do a sh*tjob like I saw from people around me in the department (let me just say that 90% of the theses I saw had lots of plagiarism and little original work). So I drew the line and quit.

Thanks and I'm in for the $6 game if I may :).

congratulations on your job, i'm still unemployed though :D

i'm in for 6bucks game or Amerzone
Thank you for your generosity! I'm in for "Amerzone - The Explorer Legacy".

I hope you find in your new job what you wish. My previous job was really not rewarding.
One of the things I hated was that I got scolded for arriving at 9:02 instead of 9:00 by my boss' assistant.
Then the next day she arrived at 9:30!!!! I was not at all sorry when I finally got away from there.
Not in, but +1 for the rule set, the GA and for good luck on the new job!
In for #1 and #4!
Another in a long line of "not in, +1". And I'm digging your giveaway criteria.

First major job I left was when I got out of the military. I realized that it wasn't the life I wanted to live and decided not to reenlist. This was also back when I was disagreeable just because I could be: No, the sky is NOT blue. What I wanted was to be a tech, and what they wanted was a whole bunch of military stuff thrown on top. That sort of difference in goals doesn't really work in the military environment, no matter how good you might be at your specialty.

Was at the next place for 11+ years, and I enjoyed the work itself. The problems were starting to mount, though: sick of flying, sick of dealing with the factory / manufacturer based in another part of the world, sick of having little or no say about my travel schedule, and sick of portions of the management style (other parts were okay). They were also pressuring me to be the service manager but I know that I am not the right type of person for that position.

Now I'm out on my own, and if I don't like the current job then there's no one to blame but myself.
