This combined with the recaptcha for orders under 1$ will hopefully cut down on the abuse that happened with some of the previous bundles. I think it's a very good move.

I think the only bundle that did not include EFF was humble bundle #4 - in that case, it was replaced by the American Red Cross.

It's interesting to see the Mac portion is majorly trumped by Linux users this time, probably for obvious reasons..

The recaptcha has been there for a long time but it didn't cut down the abuse one bit. If anything with the Winter sale it got so out of control that asking for a minimum price was the only way to go.

And Desura keys?

Not this time. They may add them later but don't hold your breath. The last bundle didn't have them and other one before that got a key for Blocks That Matter only if you asked support for it.
The Introversion bundle had a Desura key for all the Introversion games but it was added only because some people asked the devs on their forum to support Desura.

I can't use it in Mexico. :(

I'm not familiar with the games, except World of Goo a bit. So basically, I have no idea whatsoever what I'd consider these games worth, e.g. are they around 5€ or 50€ (maybe youtube would help). If they are four simple puzzle games, I'm not ready to pay that much.

Another problem is that both "my" Android devices (tablet and phone) are unavailable for me at the moment, but I presume I can purchase the games (including the Android versions) without them...

EDIT: So when you buy the games from that site and give them your email address, what happens then? How do you download and install the Android versions on your Android devices, apparently not through Android market? When you order from that page, should you use the gmail address that you use with your Android device(s), or does it matter? Argh, a bit confusing...

This bundle is just like all the previous ones so you buy directly from them not from the Android Market. You'll get Windows, Linux, and Mac versions too so you don't even need to have an Android device.

Hmm, Anomaly refuses to run on my laptop with the open-souce ATI driver, and the closed one break in interesting ways due to the horizontal resolution not being neatly divisible by 64.

Maybe I'll bother rebooting to Windows in the weekend or sometime next week.

You could pay less, then donate more when you've tried the games and found them worthy a higher price.

They also started the average higher. It began at $7 as opposed to $5 like before. So it makes sense that it's staying higher.

Isn't the starting average whatever the first buyer pays for the bundle? For example, the first buyer always gets the extra games because the average is zero; the second buyer has to beat the first; the third one has to beat the average of the first and second, and so on ad infinitum. It goes down because there are thousands of buyers and not everybody bothers to beat the average.
Maybe, I'm wrong but I haven't heard anything about a starting fixed average. It quickly decreased afterwards. When I checked the first time, the average was around $10. This was seconds after I saw the announcement on Twitter.

No Desura keys, it seems. Probably due to the fact that Desura's running the Indie Royale.
