Hi there Gog.Com Team

in the interests of the Star Trek Fanatics out there I wish you guys would put the Star Trek Armada Games on here so we could buy them, I just wonder on how many people would actually agree with me on this little question.....

Please guys I hope you will please consider putting these games on here....

I'm sure GOG would jump at the chance, but the likelihood of them getting that chance is pretty small. I imagine those games are in rights hell and your best bet would probably be to acquire them "elsewhere". You could always then buy them if they do get re-released but don't waste your time waiting for it because it's unlikely to happen.
Too bad though. I would also love to re-play them.
I actually think I have Armada on disc around here somewhere. I should dig that out.

Well, we do have Activision games on GOG, so I imagine the real problem is getting Paramount to agree.

And Paramount it seems wants to bury the fact that there even existed Star Trek before the reboot. So no chance :(

Well exactly. You'd have to get a new agreement and it just seems unlikely to happen.

No way this is going to happen. Paramount is a subsidiary of Viacom and Activision took Viacom to court (more than 10 years ago) for a breach of contract suit. And which contract was it? It was the license for Star Trek games! Activision said that Viacom was "damaging the Star Trek franchise" (because they didn't make new TV series or movies) and thereby breaking their license agreement with Activision. I don't think it's a good idea to ask them to meet and talk about their old games...
