Expansions should be added as separate entries. :)
I think the rule of thumb should be "more or less as old as the ones currently in the Catalog". So I suppose KotOR is "oldy nuff". ;)
Generally I'd say that this list is for people who know which games they want enough to vote for -- given that this list could balloon to thousands of titles, it's not really practical for people to be browsing the list just to see which ones they want to vote for. But maybe I'm wrong and you guys are just that awesome :)

M_the_C: Already I have seen Grand Theft Auto, and Ground Control, both of which (among others) are available for free.
Removing them completely from the list would just mean that they are posted again later. So maybe games that are either available for free, or have no chance of coming to GOG should have a special entry, that shows up when it searches for already posted games?

I don't think it's a bad thing to have games that are free on there. It shows us that people want those games anyway :)

The wish list should be able to find typos while the user adds a game. For now we "manually" fix duplicates which we notice while merrily watching the wish list prosper. ;) If the "duplicate" is an alternate name (like Enemy Unknown / UFO Defense) we add it to the "primary" name in brackets. Though it's hard to judge whether an American or European version or whatever is the "primary one". :)
We will add some helpful tools in the future to make the process quicker and easier if the duplicate problem goes out of hand.

Hey, just to let you know, we are tweaking the searching engine in the wishlist, and some duplicates might have slipped through, as we were doing this, but we will fish them out and consolidate into one position.
Also our search engine should work better now, and find all results, even if there are typos or differences in spelling.
