So it's a stealth game made in the 90s with FMV.
For some reason I'm thinking... Metal Gear Solid? Either that or Thief.
Hmm. I'll side with Thief on that one.
Says "sleuth", not stealth. I call Gabriel Knight. :)
Yeah, it could be Gabriel Knight, or something in the Tex Murphy series ("Under a Killing Moon" and "The Pandora Directive" come to mind).
What I'd like to see here is "Blade Runner", though. I don't think that's tomorrow's release, however, as it didn't have FMV (IIRC).

From GoG's twitter:
"Tomorrow's announcement has been guessed by...."
Okay. It HAS to be Thief now.
Hopefully it's something good that comes out of the left field so that will surprise all of us.
GoG's twitter again:
"... someone!"
Hrm....
This place kills me, haha.
I think the person who guessed should get the game free!
My money is on Thief (Gold)...

I guess it's most likely that either you or me got it right. They posted the twitter message right after I posted here, though it can be just a coincidence.
That is, assuming the "guess" came from the forums. ;-) It might be Thief after all (and I'd love that).

Thief didn't have FMV, though (far as I know).

I checked, they posted just before your post. So I can't see it being anything other than Gabriel Knight.
The bigger deal here for me anyway would be the publisher...Sierra did those games, not sure who has publishing rights now..if it's Activision Blizzard that would open a world of possibilities..and be very weird. :)

Ohmygod. Can the new release possibly live up to all this hype? It's Fallout 3 all over again I tell you.
FMV is cutscenes with real-life actors.
I tweeted Who Shot Johnny Rock.

Gabriel Knight would be pretty cool, I never got them the first time around.
Also, the Activision/Blizzard link would be good, could open the doors to loads of classic games.
A 90s-era sleuth game with FMV?
It has to be one (or more!) of the Tex Murphy games:

I remember playing these back in the day and they were great. I'd love for them to come out on here again.
